Hey

This past summer I had a chance to help out my buddy Mike on a deadline crunch on the America's Army comic he illustrates. Mike is an Army Vet so knows the subject matter intimately and was a great help. He supplied me with reference to use on these pages.

here are the pages...

There's some flashback to Basic and then special forces in Afghanistan. Got to draw some M4s, Aks and rpgs. fun fun!

thanks,

Will

Impressive stuff there Willus! Looking forward to seeing more of it. Are you able to get a hold of the finished print to distribute/sell at a game?

That's awesome drawing, love the accurate ratio of the gears and human proportion, it's a very difficult thing to do!! That's mad skills. Great compositions, too.

An update -

So my the Americas Army issue I helped out on is up on the game site here:

http://www.americasarmy.com/graphicnovel/reader/

it's issue two of the book and I penciled pages 11-18. Was a lot of fun drawing all the gears and stuff.

A good America's army comic would relate how the game is a laggy POS and really buggy.

Nice! You can obviously see the drawing style changes.
